Main Avenue Road Work
Weather permitting, the City
of Sisters has scheduled for
a slurry seal to be placed on
the asphalt on Main Avenue
between Locust and Pine on
Thursday, May 31, 7 a.m. to
5 p.m., with completion on
Friday, June 1. This seal should
preserve the existing surface
and prolong its integrity. There
will be fl aggers in place to
direct traffi c during the curing
process (3 to 4 hours). Please
expect delays and choose
an alternate route if possible.

Commission Members
The City is taking applications
for two in-city or out-of-city
volunteers to serve on the
Planning Commission for
4-year terms. The Commission
reviews major land-use
applications and advises the
Council on planning policies.

General Election ballot; the

registered to vote in Oregon
and a resident of the city of
Sisters for 12 months preceding
the election. Pick up election
materials at City Hall starting
May 30. Perfected petitions
must be received by 5 p.m. on
August 28 to be on the ballot.
