Kindergarten Roundup Sisters Elementary School will hold their annual Kindergarten Roundup pre-registration on Monday, April 30 in two sessions: one at 9 a.m. and another at 1 p.m. Children who will be age 5 on or before September 1, 2018 are eligible for the 2018-19 school year. Partition of British India At the Sisters Library on Saturday, April 28 at noon, UW professor Keith Snodgrass will explore how the British partition of India came about and how it resonates 70 years later, including how colonial practices contributed to how independence took place. For infomation call 541-312-1072. Child Safety Seat Clinic Sisters-Camp Sherman RFPD will hold a child safety seat clinic on Friday, May 4 from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Sisters Fire Hall, 301 S. Elm St. Nationally certifi ed child passenger safety technicians will be on hand to inspect and educate caregivers on how to install and properly use the child safety seats.
