Kindergarten Roundup
The City of Sisters is accepting
applications for a volunteer
to serve a 3-year term on the
Urban Forestry Board, which
guides management of the
urban forest, including all trees
in public right-of-way, parks
and public places owned or
controlled by the City. The
applicant should represent the
land development community.
Applications are online at
ci.sisters.or.us or at Sisters City
Hall, 520 E. Cascade Ave., and
will be accepted until 5 p.m.

Sisters Elementary School will
hold their annual Kindergarten
Roundup pre-registration
on Monday, April 30 in two
sessions: one at 9 a.m. and
another at 1 p.m. Children

before September 1, 2018 are
eligible for the 2018-19 school

TIGER is an almost-2-year-old
domestic shorthair torbie
(tortoise shell/tabby). She was
surrendered to the shelter when
her owner left for the Marine
Corps. Tiger can be a little shy
at fi rst, but once she is back in a
home environment, shelter staff
feels she’ll be very happy and
content. Tiger has lived her life
as an indoor-only cat, and was
friendly with both cats and dogs.
