Strong performers in pool and on hardwood
team school records
Lydia swims year-round
at Bend Swim Club, so is a
very accomplished swim-
mer. She specializes in
freestyle distance events,
her coach Bryn Singleton
said. “She is a wonderful
example to the team as she
works hard in both school
and the pool.”
Ty Horner is a
senior on the boys
basketball team. A
two-year starter,
he was also one
of the team cap-
tains this year.
“He helped
lead us to a
Sky-Em League
championship
this season with
a record of 9-1
in league,”
said
Boys
Basketball
Coach David
Godfrey.

Lydia Bartlett is a
sophomore swimmer who
came back from a shoulder
injury this season to have
an outstanding state swim
meet. She broke two indi-
vidual school records: the
500 freestyle (a record that
had stood since the 1990s)
and the 100 freestyle. She
was also on a relay team
that broke all three relay

last week,
where he
averaged a “double-dou-
ble” with 16 points and 12
rebounds in our two games
there.
“All this is quite an
accomplishment — espe-
cially when you consider
that he did all this while
playing with an injured
hand for much of the sea-
son,” Godfrey said.

showed good leadership
in helping our team have
a very successful season,”
Godfrey said.

some
eggs
Children from infant to
11 years of age are invited
to participate in the annual

sored by the Sisters-Camp

will take place on Easter
Sunday, April 1, at 1 p.m. at
the adjoining Creekside Park
and Campground, regardless
of weather. The Easter Bunny

all.
Parking is limited, so
plan to arrive early. Children
wishing to participate are
asked to be at the parks at
12:40 p.m. so they can be
divided into the appropri-
