Dixie’s
Rancho Viejo
If you’re looking for a little ranch-style romance this Valentine’s Day, you
owe yourself — and your sweetheart — a visit to Dixie’s.
A new shipment of Vogt silver has arrived at Dixie’s just in time for those
heartfelt Valentine’s gifts. Come in and check out the selection of necklaces,
cuffs, and earrings. And if you’re looking for an “edgy” gift, take a look at the
ladies’ leg knives — guaranteed to be a unique piece for your sweetie.
Dixie’s is an exclusive dealer of Pendleton blankets — perfect for snuggling
under this Valentine’s Day and for years and years to come.
Dixie’s aims to help you be fashionable, yet practical, when out and about
in Sisters. Ariat vests and jackets look great and get the job done in the out-
doors as Sisters slides from winter into spring. Dixie’s also carries Filson cloth-
ing that will last you a lifetime.
A sandy beach and cobalt blue seas. A platter of Mar y Tierra (Surf & Turf)
fajitas delivered steaming-hot; a delicious, fresh-squeezed margarita in hand.
A little time to connect with your love.
Sounds great, right? But you can’t get away in the middle of February for a
seaside vacation in Mexico. Or can you?
Let Rancho Viejo take you and your sweetheart away to a warmer clime
and a slower pace this Valentine’s Day — without ever leaving Sisters.
Rancho Viejo is offering a delicious Valentine’s Day Mar y Tierra special
— a choice of one seafood and one meat item in their legendary fajitas. And
speaking of legendry — you can pair it with one of the custom-crafted, fresh-
squeezed margaritas Rancho Viejo is so well-known for.
Top it off with dessert, and you have yourself a romantic getaway with your
Valentine — and you never have to climb aboard an airplane!

It can be difficult to find the “right” Realtor when you buy or sell one
of your most valuable assets. However, Oregon Lifestyle Property Group &
Jodi Satko, Broker, have earned the “We Love Our Realtor” status with their
clients!
“When everything lined up to buy my FIRST home, Oregon Lifestyle
Property Group was ready! I can’t say enough about my customer experience
& their professionalism … there is no price tag on the PEACE OF MIND
you get from having this great team working for you!” James B. — Redmond
“Moving from California, I interviewed 3 local realtors, I had no question
that Jodi’s team was the BEST choice! We had to move quickly on a dream
property & could not fly in to see it. Jodi took extensive videos & I trusted her
direction and made an offer immediately without even seeing the property.
I felt so comfortable with their experience and professionalism, I didn’t even
hesitate!”
Rainwater Café & Bakery
Clearwater Gallery/Open Door
If you are looking for delectable “sweetheart treats” for Valentine’s Day, you
owe yourself (and your sweetie) a visit to Rainwater Café.
Where else will you fi nd a pizza in the shape of a heart? Or a heart-shaped
cake that tells your Valentine that you think he’s a sweetie? Call and place a
custom order — use your imagination and let the Rainwater Café staff make
your romantic notions real.
Gluten-free or vegan? No problem! Rainwater Café has mastered the chal-
lenging art of gluten-free baking, creating cookies and cupcakes that are so
moist and fl avorful that no one could tell the difference. One particular Val-
entine sweetheart rates their cookies as the best around!
Stop in to Rainwater Café in Town Square and enjoy a tasty lunch in a
friendly, convivial atmosphere — and enjoy $1 off on any espresso drink.
Celebrate Valentine’s Day with The Open Door. Reserve your table and
enjoy lovely service, a four-course prix-fi xe menu, specialty cocktails and an
elegant wine pairing menu.
And you can show a little heart for art at Clearwater Gallery, where re-
nowned artist Dan Rickards is tracing his personal “Roots” in an exhibit and
silent auction that will benefi t Sisters High School’s visual arts program.
Dan’s early pen-and-ink works are up for auction as the artist looks back at
the early inspiration for an illustrious career.
“My artist roots were watered by the encouragement of my parents, the
enthusiasm of my wife to pursue my God-given talent… I remember (art
teacher) Mr. Dvorak encouraging me to draw, paint and create art profession-
ally,” Dan recalls.
The silent auction runs through February 9 at Clearwater Gallery — and
the proceeds will be donated to the Sisters High School arts program to pro-
vide art supplies.
