Follow the Sisters Habitat for Humanity Gingerbread Trail It’s that time of year — the time to get into the holiday spirit. One of the best ways to celebrate is by fol- lowing the 11th Annual Sisters Habitat for Humanity Gingerbread Trail. Many businesses in Sisters Country will decorate and display a gingerbread house as a fundraiser for Sisters Habitat. Spectators can vote for their favorite gin- gerbread house by placing money in the wooden bank at each shop. Everyone is encouraged to vote for more than one house. The creations will be on display from Friday, November 24 through January 2, 2018. Maps of the gingerbread trail are located at the Sisters Area Chamber of Commerce, Sisters Habitat Thrift and ReStore as well as all participating businesses. The gingerbread creation that receives the highest dollar amount will win the People’s Choice Award. A best-in-show award will be decided by three independent judges. All proceeds benefit the building program of Sisters Habitat for Humanity.
