Outlaws post Homecoming win over Elmira
By Rongi Yost
Correspondent
The Outlaws bested
the Falcons 28-7 in their
Homecoming game held on
Friday, October 13. Korbin
Sharp led the Outlaws in
rushing and scored three of
their four touchdowns.
Prior to the game, seniors
Jaden Condel, Brodie
Enstrom, Tyler Friend,
Spencer Kemp, Pherry Luz,
Jett Mingus, Sam Mitchell,
Ethan Morgan, Zach
Morgan, Austin Morss, Jared
Richerson, Andre Roberts,
Chayce Sproat, Jacob
Stevens, Turner Stutzman,
Casey Warburton and Brady
Wessel were honored.
Coach Neil Fendall said,
“Our seniors make up a huge
part of our team in sheer
numbers. As head coach,
they’re my first senior class,
so they’re very special to me.
They were sophomores when
I joined the program. Brady
(Wessel) has played varsity
all four years, Jaden (Condel)
has played varsity for three
years, and they are the main-
stays in our program. All the
other seniors have two years
experience on varsity.”
Sisters got its first touch-
down four minutes into the
first quarter when Tyler
Friend scored on a 55-yard
run. The extra point was
blocked, but the Outlaws took
a 6-0 lead. Korbin Sharp ran
58 yards for a TD with five
minutes left in the period.
Sharp also ran for the two-
point conversion to extend
the lead to 14-0.
Korbin scored again on
a 12-yard run with 1:44 left
in the second quarter. His
brother, Hayden, kicked the
PAT and Sisters went up 21-0
as teams entered the half.
In the second half, Sharp
scored on a four-yard run
for his third TD of the night;
Hayden’s kick was good, and
the Outlaws tacked on seven
more points.
Elmira scored on a three-
yard run in the fourth, and
their extra point was good,
which turned out to be the
final score in the Outlaws
win.
Sisters’ offensive line
once again had a strong per-
formance and played a lot of
snaps. Coach Fendall noted
Wessel in particular.
“Brady only came off the
field for one play the entire
night, and that included spe-

“Tyler played a whale of senior night.
