Jay Head is Black Butte Ranch’s
new CEO.
Jay originally grew up
in Tyler and Dallas, Texas,
prior to moving to Oregon
where he fell in love with the
Pacific Northwest.
A lifelong golfer, Jay
first found his passion for
the game as a young boy
while tagging along with his
grandfather during friendly
rounds of golf at his country
club in East Texas.
In addition to golf,
Head is passionate about
the great outdoors and is
excited to enjoy the abun-
dance of activities and sce-
nic beauty Central Oregon

Head started at Black
Butte Ranch on July 28.
Charles Edward Kern,

Guam.
After marrying Jean in
Chico, California, in 1947,
Charles began to work
for Safeway stores as an
apprentice meat-cutter in

kind, happy and fun-loving
friendly man.
The family will hold a
