host a game day for kids ages
4 to 10 on Tuesday, July 25

slip-n-slide bowling, a big water
slide, water balloon launcher,

Jammin’ for Nepal
On Saturday, July 29, an annual
Ten Friends fundraiser takes
place from 6 to 8:30 p.m. at
Hood Avenue Art. Enjoy snacks
and appetizers, and buy a cup
made by local potters to fi ll
with free soft drinks, beer, or
distilled drinks. Funds raised
will assist Ten Friends’ work
in Nepal. With live music

Book Corner Needs Books!
Due to the success of the
book sale last Saturday, the
Friends Book Corner supply
is very low! The book corner
takes donations Tuesdays and
Saturdays from 1 to 3 p.m. and
accepts gently used books 10
years or newer; CDs, DVDs,
and books on tape (but no
cookbooks at this time). Please
consider donating and help the
book corner raise funds that
support programs at the Sisters

award grants to nonprofi t
groups and others for Sisters
projects that: 1) provide
assistance for essential food,
clothing or shelter; 2) provide
educational or recreational
