The Central Oregon Veterans
Ranch will host the Red, White
& Blue Ball at Winter Range
Ranch, 66295 Hwy. 20 on

dancing, silent auction, raffl e,
and live music with Lindy

Potluck & Town Hall
At the Sisters Fire Hall on
Monday, June 5 at 5:30 p.m.,

to share and hear the results
of the “Point in Time” annual
one-night census of people
experiencing homelessness
in our community. Join your

on local implications for the
census, and help brainstorm
ideas to alleviate the problem

Trail Ride for St. Jude’s
All are invited to trail ride
for a reason at OET’s Saddle
Up for St. Jude and Jimerson
Trail Poker Rides. A weekend
of horse fun is planned for
Saturday & Sunday, June 3 & 4
at Sisters Cow Camp, NFS Road
15. Rides start at 9 a.m. with
the last riders out at noon each
day. Donations are accepted
for the St. Jude ride; the poker
ride is $15 the fi rst hand and $5

Kiwanis Food Bank
Your family may be eligible for
food assistance at the Sisters
Kiwanis Food Bank. Eligibility
rules may be found online

the food bank for complete

located at Main Avenue and
Oak Street and is open once a
week, every Thursday, from
9 a.m. to 2 p.m. You may
also get cat and dog food
weekly during those hours at
no charge, provided by Furry

Land Trust Walks & Hikes
Now through November,
Deschutes Land Trust volunteer
naturalists lead more than
120 free walks, hikes, and
bike rides. Explore birds,
wildfl owers, and geology at
various protected lands in
small groups. Registration

outing opens one month prior

for its home repair program
(roof repair, weatherization,
ramps, exterior painting, etc.).
Applicants must own their
home (not assessed at more
than $200,000); have a need
for improved housing; be able
to repay a loan; partner with
Habitat with sweat equity hours
and have lived in Sisters for at
least one year. Applications
