Student of the Year!
Kylie Steiner works hard and
doesnʼt hesitate to ask her teachers
for help if she doesnʼt understand
something in class. She attributes
her success in school to those char-
acteristics – and she appreciates that
Sisters High School offers the right
setting for her to succeed.
“Thereʼs defi nitely more one-on-
one with the teachers,” she says.
“I kind of need more of that one-
on-one to understand something. I
think relationships with teachers is
a big thing.”
She cited Mr. OʼNeill, her math
teacher, as a particularly strong
infl uence.
“Heʼs helped me become a better
learner,” she said.
Kylie plays softball and is in the
process of building a guitar.
“Itʼs exciting,” she said. “Iʼm glad
to have a memory of this school by
building a guitar.”
Kylie plans to attend the Univer-
sity of Montana to pursue a major
in psychology with an eye toward
becoming a counselor.
