Child Car Seat Checkup
The Sisters-Camp Sherman
Fire District will hold a child
car seat checkup on Saturday,
March 18, from 10 a.m. to
noon at the Sisters Fire Hall.
Nationally certifi ed technicians
will check your child’s seat for
any recalls, as well as proper fi t
and installation, and caregivers
may receive help installing
their car seat. No appointment
is necessary; plan on at least
20 minutes per seat. For more

Shelter Seeks Volunteers
Sisters Cold Weather Shelter
needs volunteers! Sign up to
help in various ways via a link
on the Facebook page, or leave
a message at 541-639-7321. It
will be open on selected nights
in March from 6 p.m. to 7 a.m.
at The Episcopal Church of the
Transfi guration, 68825 Brooks
Camp Rd. The message phone
is updated by 2 p.m. every day
as to what nights it is open.
Bottle & Can Drive for
Furry Friends Foundation
Furry Friends Foundation can
use your redeemable bottles
and cans. Help us raise funds
by dropping them off (in closed
plastic bags, please) to the blue
recycle bins on the front west
