Sisters-Camp Sherman RFPD
will offer the American Heart
Association “Heartsaver” CPR
class on Friday, February 3. The
Adult CPR segment is from
9 a.m. to about 1 p.m. For

The First Aid segment will be
held Saturday, February 4 from
9 a.m. to about 1 p.m. Register

Senior Lunches and More
Meet your fellow seniors at
the Sisters Senior Luncheon!
Lunch is served every Tuesday
at noon at Sisters Community
Church with a $3.50 suggested
donation for those over 60. The
espresso hour runs 11 a.m. to
noon, and BINGO is played
after lunch until 2:30 p.m. A
free blood pressure clinic is
offered the last Tuesday of the
month from 11 a.m. to noon.

Budget Committee Openings
The City of Sisters is accepting
applications for two “in-city”
volunteers to serve on the
Budget Committee, for 4-year
terms that expire July 2020.
The committee advises the
City on matters pertaining to
the budget and typically meets
between two and fi ve times in
May. Applications are online

Hall, 520 E. Cascade Ave., and
will be accepted until 5 p.m. on

Chamber Awards Ceremony
The Annual Sisters Chamber
Awards Ceremony will be held
on Thursday, February 16 at
5:30 p.m. at FivePine Lodge

Shelter Seeks Volunteers
Sisters Cold Weather Shelter is
open and there is a great need
for volunteers for both shifts!
You may sign up to volunteer
on the Facebook page or leave
a message at 541-639-7321. In
February the shelter is at Sisters
Community Church, 1300 W.
McKenzie Hwy., open from
6 p.m. to 7 a.m. on nights
when the temperature is 32°
or below. The message phone
will also be updated by 2 p.m.
every day through March.

Your family may be eligible for
food assistance at the Sisters
Kiwanis Food Bank. Eligibility
rules may be found online

information. The food bank is

week, every Thursday, from
