Sisters Christian Academy
Cascade Carpentry
Sisters is home to the highly regarded private Sisters Christian
Academy, where small classes pursue academic excellence in the at-
mosphere of a community of faith. The preschool through 8th-grade
academy welcomes guests and is happy to offer you a tour. Subjects
are taught with an attempt to develop understanding, wisdom, and
thinking ability. Sisters Christian Academy is a community-based,
accredited private school. Our teachers are all highly qualifi ed, car-
ing educators who are committed to your child’s success in school
and in life.
School is also a LOT of fun. We’ll be going ice-skating toward the
end of the month. Our whole school will be going ice-skating together
for a fun follow-up/reward because the kiddos met their fundraising
goal in Sisters Christian Academy’s annual Walk/Jog-a-thon.
Contact us today if you are interested in learning more about ex-
cellence in education in a caring, fun, and joyful learning community.
As you get your home unburied from the snow, it’s a great time to
start planning some light remodeling — like replacing doors, win-

make for an inexpensive and effective investment in your home’s
livability and value.
Cascade Carpentry is a wonderful resource for all your projects,
helping you get the most bang possible out of your small- to medium-
sized projects, while making sure you get the best value for your dollar.
Make a plan now to enhance your way of living throughout the
years to come. Let Cascade Carpentry build a deck for you, or re-
model your kitchen for better function and greater value.
Bob Walker has the eye of an artist and the skills of a craftsman.
Whatever your project, Cascade Carpentry will get it done on time
and within budget.
Bear Mountain Fire
Best Vue Blinds
Right now, Bear Mountain Fire is out there with shovels, skip-
loaders and plows, helping Sisters dig out from under several feet
of snow and to keep driveways and parking areas clear.
But they know spring will soon come, and with it the need to take
care of your forested landscape.
Dave Vitelle has spent years in the woods, fi ghting fi re and con-
ducting thinning projects that improve forest health.
Bear Mountain Fire works with landowners — from small acre-
ages to large properties — to develop plans for fi re prevention and
forest health. Dave can seek out grants and market materials from
projects to keep costs down (or even eliminate them) for landowners.
The forest is our natural habitat here in Sisters, and fi re our pri-
mary threat. Learn to live in harmony with both with the experi-
enced and knowledgeable crew led by Dave Vitelle of Bear Moun-
tain Fire.
Best Vue Blinds brought Hunter Douglas products into their
showroom last spring. It is probably their most extensive product
line due to all the different styles and operating mechanisms avail-
able to choose from.
To give customers the best service, they sent one of their install-
ers to Hunter Douglas Installer Training. After several days of in-
tense training they are proud to say they have a Certifi ed Hunter
Douglas installer — Jeff Young — on staff. Jillian Zepeda can help
you with your Hunter Douglas selections.
Best Vue Blinds offers a wide variety of window-covering mate-
rials with a variety of functions — all at competitive prices. The
addition of Hunter Douglas gives Best Vue Blinds’ product line the
full range of good-better-best. Their success is directly attributable
to providing quality products and a level of service you just cannot
expect at a big-box store.
