Information Available from the Chamber of Commerce The Sisters Area Chamber of Commerce has Oregon regional maps with information on points of interest, cities, towns, accommodations, state parks plus local and statewide events. Stop by for a packet with information on recreation within the local area! The chamber is located at the corner of Main Avenue and Spruce Street. Hours of operation are weekdays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. For additional information call 541-549-0251. Shelter Seeks Volunteers Sisters Cold Weather Shelter is now open and volunteers are needed! You may sign up to volunteer on the Facebook page or leave a message at 541- 639-7321. In January the shelter will be at Westside Church Sisters campus from 6 p.m. to 7 a.m. on nights when the temperature is 32° or below. The message phone will also be updated daily by 2 p.m., January through March. Christmas Tree Recycling During the month of January you may take your Christmas tree to the Sisters Recycling Center at no charge. Trees must be bare and free of any decorations. Annual Art Exhibit Reception at the Library Food Assistance at the Kiwanis Food Bank The Friends of the Sisters Library 12th Annual Art Exhibit, featuring works by local artists, runs Wednesday, January 11 through Friday, February 24.
