District has received grant
funding for a new senior
scholarship program. Any 60+
adult may apply or be referred
by a community member,
with a simple application.

The annual Outlaw Open
will be held Friday, June 17 at
Aspen Lakes Golf Course. The
scramble begins with a 1 p.m.
shotgun start. The tournament
includes a dinner, live auction,
plus a dance and performance
by the High Street Band. $130
per golfer includes dinner,
auction, and entertainment.
If not golfi ng, enjoy dinner
and entertainment for $30 per
person, or just the High Street
Band performance and dance
for $10. And sponsorships are

The Library Book Club

Outlaw Baseball Camp
Kids are invited to learn the
fundamentals and skills of
baseball at Sisters Outlaw
Baseball Camp. It will be held
at the SHS varsity baseball fi eld
from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday
through Wednesday, June 20,
21 & 22. Cost is $85 with $15
discount for each additional
child in a family. Per-day cost is
$27 for those who can’t make
all three days (and scholarships

is a 2005 SHS graduate and received
bachelor degrees in both psychology
and music from Azusa Pacifi c U. She
is employed as a travel agent at AAA
in Salem. Dillon graduated from Hillsboro HS in 2007 and studied
psychology and communication at Portland State U. He worked as a
portrait artist for Norwegian Cruise Line and is building his photography
business in the Portland area. The couple resides in Wilsonville and
they plan to marry September 10, 2016 near Corvallis.
“Crest the Cascades” Ride
The annual Crest the Cascades
Bike Ride over the McKenzie
Pass (formerly the Ride for
Two Rivers), takes place on
Saturday, June 18, offering both
a long course (57.6 miles) and
summit course (26.8 miles).
Cost is $40 and includes an
end-of-ride hot meal and live
music with The Anvil Blasters.
