Sisters gets set to rock on rodeo weekend
Not all of the action on
rodeo weekend takes place
in the arena. There are plenty
of opportunities to kick up
your heels after watching the
broncs and bulls.
Sisters Saloon is bring-
ing back classic Sisters after-
rodeo party action starting
Wednesday night with Dry
Canyon Stampede playing
after Xtreme Bulls. The local
outfit led by Kurt Silva will
play in the saloon’s court-
yard, which features a brand-
new stage.
For the rest of the week-
end, Thursday through
Saturday night, that stage at
the historic Western Hotel
Sisters will be home to the
Joe Slick Band, back by pop-
ular demand to fill the night
with boot-scootin’ rockin’
country music.
“We are back at Sisters,”
the band announced on its
website. “If you want to go to
a rodeo and a heck of a party
after hours, this is the week-
end you need to get booked
right away. A great town,
