SHS Food Carts
One day only, Wednesday,
February 24, students of the
Sisters High School Culinary
Arts class (headed by TR
McCrystal) present a food fair
with food carts in the school
commons. The students have
created business plans and food
items to sell from 11:30 a.m. to
noon. The carts will be open to
the public; come in for lunch
and support the students. For

Presentation on
Concussions in Sports
The Sisters High School
Athletic Department and Sisters
Science Club host Dr. Robert
Collins when he presents
“Concussions in School Sports”
at 7 p.m. on Wednesday,
February 24 at the Sisters High
School gym. Free, and all are
welcome, but attendance is
required for all players and
families in spring sports at SHS.

Child Car Seat Checkup
The Sisters-Camp Sherman
RFPD will host a child car seat
checkup on Saturday, March 5
from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the
Sisters Fire Hall. Seats will be
checked for recalls and proper
fi t for both vehicle and child.
Bring your children and plan
on spending at least 20 minutes
at the event. Note: all children
shorter than 4'9" should have
their own car seat. Questions?

Mr. SHS Pageant
All are invited to the Sisters
High School auditorium on
Friday, March 4 at 7 p.m. when
the 2016 Mr. SHS pageant
takes place, and this year’s Mr.
SHS is crowned! The popular,
annual event is a fundraiser for
Sisters Family Access Network.

Meet your fellow seniors at
the Sisters Senior Luncheon!
Lunch is served every Tuesday

Church with a $3.50 suggested

noon, and BINGO is played
after lunch until 2:30 p.m. A
free blood pressure clinic is
offered the last Tuesday of the
month from 11 a.m. to noon.

Furry Friends Foundation
Furry Friends Foundation can
use your redeemable bottles
and cans. Help us raise funds

Family Fun Story Time
Family Fun Story Times for
kids birth to 5 are held at the

every Thursday. They feature
interactive songs, rhymes, and
crafts, all designed to grow

LILY is a sweet 3-year-old
bull terrier/Australian kelpie mix.
She was surrendered when her
family moved and couldn’t take
her along. Lily is a little shy at
fi rst, but warms up in no time.
She’s playful, energetic, and
housetrained. She has lived
primarily indoors and would love
to fi nd a home where the situation
remains the same. Lily has lived
with kids and dogs and seems to
do well with both. Come meet her!
