Habitat For Humanity
If your New Year’s resolutions include
getting more involved in your community,
there’s no better way to do that than vol-
unteering for Sisters Habitat for Humanity.
Your help can change lives for Sisters fami-
lies.
Positions are available for volunteers at
the Thrift Store, at ReStore, and on con-
struction sites. No experience is necessary
for any of those positions — you’ll get your
training by doing.
Volunteer orientations are set for the fi rst
and third Wednesday of each month, at noon
at the Habitat offi ces (upstairs above the
Thrift Store). Call 541-549-1193 or email
marie@sistershabitat.org to RSVP.
Sisters Habitat for Humanity has pro-
vided housing opportunities for well over
30 families in Sisters. The Thrift Store and
ReStore raise funds for that effort, while
providing quality, low-cost used goods to
the community. Join up and have fun while
making a big difference in your community.
Greg Johnson, Exit Realty
I am a “Recreologist” by trade and pos-
sess a passion for the active lifestyle Sisters
and Central Oregon offer.
I am in the real estate business where real
estate is my product but people are my busi-
ness.
Before moving to Central Oregon I spent
25-plus years in the recreation and parks
business developing parks and programs,
always with the interest of people in mind.
I enjoy teaching the value of a leisure life-
style fi lled with exploration and adventures
— adventures that enrich life and the in-
dividual and contribute to the value of the
individual and appreciation for their sur-
roundings.
I am in Sisters by choice, and I love to
share the reasons for my choices. I look for-
ward to serving my clients, my friends, my
family, church and community with all the
benefi ts that our home, Sisters, has to offer.
Know that in my business dealings my
goals are simple — they are yours!
Alpenhimmel

himmel Creative Arts Emporium has en-
hanced its offerings to the Sisters commu-
nity.
Alpenhimmel is fi lled with new supplies

visions into beautiful reality. And there’s
still plenty of space for classes and group
projects.
Alpenhimmel has expanded its lines of
acrylic paints and brushes, added even more
mixed-media supplies, and has dedicated a
whole corner of the space to scrapbooking
supplies.
All the tools and equipment for your cre-
ative endeavors are here, plus the expertise
to help you approach your project.
Alpenhimmel will continue to host class-
es and workshops for every skill level, so
be watching for their 2016 calendar to be
published soon.
This is the year your creativity blossoms!
