Live Old-time Radio Shows
On Thursday, December 17 at
7 p.m. at The Belfry, the players
of Sisters Classic Old-Time
Radio Experience (SCORE) will
perform live-radio broadcasts
from the classic radio shows
“Father Knows Best” and “The
Plot to Overthrow Christmas.”
They will be joined by the
Bend radio group Jigawatts,
performing an episode from
the 1940s radio detective
drama “Pat Novak, for Hire.”
Many of the sound effects
will be created right on stage.

Holiday Singing Grams
The Sisters High School Jazz
Choir will offer holiday singing
grams on Thursday, December
17. The choir will drive to a
destination within 10 minutes
of the high school campus and
serenade someone special, or
will make a singing phone call.
Singing Grams are $15 fi rst
song ($5 each additional) or $5
per song on the SHS campus or

The Kiwanis Club of Sisters
is holding their annual See’s
Candy sales fundraiser out
of a trailer in the Ray’s Food
Place parking lot, now through
Thursday, December 31 (or

to 6 p.m. daily (with a half-day
on Thanksgiving, and closed
Christmas Day). Profi ts raised
provide scholarships and
career-change assistance, and
go to other Kiwanis service
projects, all in our community.
