5th Annual
Holiday Faire
November 27 - December 20
Great selection of exceptional quality
handmade items from local vendors.
Twenty-five children from Sisters received
a visit from Santa, Mrs. Claus and the Sugar
Plum Fairy when they went Christmas shop-
ping for their parents and siblings at Sisters
Habitat for Humanity Thrift Store after school
on Monday, December 7.
For the past 15 years, Sisters Habitat has
hosted a shopping event for many of the chil-
dren of Habitat families and other children
in the area referred by staff from Family
Access Network and Sisters Elementary
School.
A Habitat volunteer is paired up with a
child and helps the child shop for his or her
family members. Donations made to Sisters
Habitat Thrift Store make it possible for the
kids to shop.
The kids wrapped their selected presents
and afterward enjoyed cookies and a story
from Santa and Mrs. Claus.
