Meeting with ODOT for Chamber Members ODOT has requested a meeting with Sisters business owners to discuss the proposed roundabout. First Aid Class The next CPR/AED and First Aid class, provided by the Sisters-Camp Sherman RFPD, is scheduled for Saturday, June 27. City Seeks Two Planning Commission Members The City of Sisters is accepting applications for two volunteers for the Planning Commission; an “in-city” and an “out-of-city within Sisters School District.” The commission reviews major land-use applications and advises the city council on policies and changes to the Comprehensive Plan and Development Code. Saturday, June 13 from 9 a.m. to noon, join the Deschutes Land Trust and Ginny Elliott for an early summer hike at Whychus Canyon Preserve, just for kids! You’ll hike into a canyon carved by Whychus Creek, explore, learn about rock cairns (miniature rock towers) and then build your own! Perfect for kids ages 6-12 with a grown-up in tow. Outlaw Open and Hall of Fame Induction The Outlaw Booster Club presents the inaugural Hall of Fame Banquet & Induction Ceremony on Thursday, June 25 at FivePine Conference Center.
