Tho program for the day as discussed
is planned to have thu reception Infill
on tho arrival of the troops at Salem by
train, march to tho grand banquet under
the escort of the veterans of the Grand
Army where a formal reception program
will be carried out. The Iniys would
then have their afternoon to thoinsolvef.
In the evening there Is to bo a further
program at thu oiern house, with
flpcci'hefi from tho officers, telling their
experiences on the Held of battle where
they ho proudly distinguished them
selves, all to bo followed by a grand
military ball.
Tho program may lie changed by the
committee, but the atiovo is the way it
was mapped out in the talks on Satur
day. Thu committees will meet again
next Saturday nt 3 o'clock to complete
their work as fur as possible.

ency Corps deserve great credit for go
ing ahead in the matter of.the reception
and will Imj heartily mipjiorted.
