Roberts, of Oak Grove, Polk county met with a bad accident yesterday while on his way to Salem with a dressed hog in his wago.n He touched his team up with the whip and away they ran and became too much for him to hold, so ho thought he would jump. In doing so the robe tripped him up and pitched him head first between the wheels, the hind wheel running over him und breaking his collarbone. This was about three miles up the river toward Eola, and a neighbor sent to town'for a doctor, who wctn out and set the fracture and Mr. R. is getting along nicely.
