Mild temperatures and just enough wind to challenge a few made the day even more enjoyable. During the tournament, golfers competed with one another on challenges such as “Closest to the pin”, “Yellow ball” and “Longest Drive” and an opportunity to win $10,000 at the “hole in one challenge”. Judy Scott’s Chuckwagon catered a lunch of pulled pork sandwiches, potato salad, beans, and homemade fruit cocktail cake, for all to enjoy. As the tournament was nearing an end, golfers could gather up raffle prizes that were donated by various businesses.
