The Aurofi Observer enters the held of journalism for the dual purposes of exploiting the wonderful and natural advantages of Aurora and north Marion county, and to give clean, live, wholesome news to Hie public. * The Observer firmly believes that Aurora has as bright a future as any town in*the state of Oregon. Being situ* ated in wliat is rightly conceded to be the garden spot of the entire northwest, with ideal climatic conditions, pure waiter, abundance of fuel, the most fertile land ever trod* den by man, with thousands o f acres y e t uncultivated, this section offers inducements* to homeseekers and invest ors that cannot be duplicated anywhere in the West. The Observer will be independent in politics, religion and all other mattefca not pertaining to the progress and upbuilding of Aurora and vicinity. Every effort will be put forth to demonstrate to the seekers for homes and in vestments th a t this favored section cannot be surpassed.
