Clyde Inmar, Supt of the Hydro
Sixes mine on the Sixes river, was
drowned in Rogue river at Mule creek
last Thursday. In company with two
I cj.nnanions. Messrs Wall and Kirgers.

country prospecting, and cn the day

lmthing. He was unable to swim and
getting into the swift current of the
.stream was carried into deep water
and drowned.
The father, who was in California,

telegraphed to spare no expense in
patroling the river witli the result
that the body was found Saturday
about a mile and a half below the

were taken to the railroad r.nd ship
ped to California for burial.
The deceased was about 1!) years of
age mid was a bright, gentlemanly
youiif, fellow who during his short
residence in this section made many
warm friends Resides his father, the
deceased is survived by It's mother

are residents of California.

employed and it is stated that he dis
charged these men to make places for
