Respectfully yours, ' J. M. Upton, Register Sunday night workmen on the dredge Seattle were horrified to find a human form protruding from the mouth of the great auger intake pipe, when it was shifted to ascertain tho cause of its refusal to work. The discovery was made about midnight and all work ceased until Coroner Wilson could be roused out of bed to make an investigation. He, assisted by the dredge employes, removed the body, taking them nearly two hours of hard work. 'Strange to say the body was not badly mutilated, being intact. There was no possible means of identification savo a few gold fill ed teeth, working clothes, and one logger boot. Tho body was buried the following day. A report was circu lated that the man had been shot, but this was disproved by Mr. Wilson who said there was no signs of foul play. It is believed the man was the victum of either accidental drown ing or suicide. Coos Bay Harbor.
