of the innocent child, Ailene Stark,

Miss Sadie Craven, in the role of
Zeresh was, vocally and dramatic
ally all the part demands and the

she acquitted herself are beyond
criticism.
Mordecai, tne hero of the story
was well eustained by Prof Newton.
Misn Edna Burnett, as the pro
phetess and Mordecai's sister, sur
prised her friends and won deserved
praise for realistic acting, beautiful
voice and fine stage presence.
Willard Craven as scribe and
high priest, Roy Hawkins as Har
hnnah. Herald. Hegai and Frank
Masterson as begger, sang and acted
their parts in a clever manner,
