Some did not come be cause of the rush in farm work. There will be a meeting on the ev ening of May 14 when a clans of candidates will be initialed in the mysteries of the first and second degrees. The grange will also make arrangements for the enter tainment of Pomona grange which will meet with it June 11th. A large class is expected to take the five degrees at this meeting Farmers and hop growers are very busy preparing tbeir fields for crops. , J. P.
