of tbe United States array has been
indulged in. Some have contended
that in view of tbe &ct that a cer-
tain per cent of tbe soldiers would
drink anyway, it was better that the
government sell the hquor to them
limiting the sale as much as possioie,
while others have argued that tbe
sale in camp was simply an excuse
for those who desired to drink at alt
