der’s office in the City Hall, up to
five o’clock p. m., October 28, 1919,
and such proposals will he consid­
ered by said Council at 7:30 o'clock
p. m. on the same day and date, for
grading and furnishing material and
constructing street pavement for the
City of Ashland, Oregon, on that
part of the Boulevard extending from
the east end of the present pave­
ment on said Boulevard to Ashland
Street, and also on that part of Ash­
land Street extending from the
Boulevard to W alker avenue, to the I
width of eight feet on each side
of the center line of said streets,
such improvement to be bitulithic
pavement on broken stone base, or
one course Portland cement concrete
pavement.
The contract price Is to be paid
from one assessm ent for special ben­
efits accruing to abutting properties
from such paving Improvement ex-'

which will be paid out of the Gen­
eral Fund of said City.
The contractor will be required t o ,
furnish a bond for the faithful per­
formance of the contract for a sum |

view to complete such grading at a

Jan., 1920, and that the paving shall
be completed at a date not later than
