Junior utility athlete Mikaela
Siegel scored among the top
five in three events, including
third place in the 300-meter
hurdles (55.94) and triple jump
(30-05.5), and fourth place in
the 100-meter hurdles (17.48).
Other top finishes for the
girls came from: freshman
Kaylee Graham, who finished
second in the 300-meter hur-
dles (53.32); freshman Lainey
Goss, who was third in the
3,000-meter race; and senior
Stevie Miller, with a fourth-
place leap of 4-06 in the high
jump.
In the relays, the Viking girls
were second in the 4x400-
meter race (4:27.33) with splits
from
senior
Kennedy
Pendergrass, junior Sierra
Potter, Mans and Tatum.
The 4x100-meter team of
sophomores Elyssa Rose and
Hannahleah Jakobsen, along
with Miller and Watkins fin-
ished third overall in 54.84.
The Viking girls won team
scoring with 1,324 points, fol-
lowed by Junction City
(1,090), Elmira (941.5), Sweet
Home (835.5) and Seaside
(660.5) making up the top five.
The Viking boys also had
duel individual wins, with sen-
ior Joe Dotson claiming both
the 400 meters (51.17) and
300-meter hurdles (41.05).
Dotson also placed second
in the javelin (154-0) and third
in the discus (118-0).
The Vikings got third-place
individual finishes from senior
Seth Campbell in the 800-
meters (2:03.49); sophomore
Jack Pickell in the 1,500-
meters (4:36.88); freshman
Trent Reavis in the shot put
(43-11); and senior leaper
Nicholas Dodson in the triple
jump (37-0).
