Hit.P. On Mendry, we wore pruned - to learn of the death of Mrs. Joseph Fields, who died at her residence across iho river, of typhoid fever. Following (fast upon tho announcement of Mrs. f ields's death was that of her husband, w ho died u.xm the same day. surviving his wife only sixteen hours' Mr. Fields was a man" well known and highly respected hero, while Mrs. F. was'mi'j, versaliy esteemed and beloved bv a largo circle of friends.
