Stillman who yesterday resigned the presidency of the National City bank, today resumed, in tbi tint of a series of secret hearings, bis fight for divorce from Mrs Anne Urquhart Stillman. It was said at the outset of the hearing today, which is being held before Referee Daniel J. Oleason In the rooms of the bar associa tion, that the presentation of evi dence would require at least three days. Several French-Canadians from Three Rivers, Quebec, site of the Stillman summer camp, are here for the hearing. In this connection it was sail fciat Mr. Stillman would produce testimony to support his conten tion that his wife is tbo mother of a male child by their former In dian servant and guide, Fred Beauvals. In addition it was re ported, further charges of alleged misconduct would be preferred against Mrs. Stillman. It was announced that witness es summoned by counsel for Mrs. Stillman in her counter charges of infidelity, will be called to testify at a later hearing. Mrs. Stillman Appears. Shortly before the hearlnz, jeld behind closed doors, began a smartly dressed woman stepped bUo the room. Newspapermen thought they recognised Mrs. Stillnan and lawyers on both sides did not deny it was she. One, aiSsd directly If U was Mrs. Stillman, replied; "I presume it was she." It was learned that the first witnesses called were two French Canadians who had not testified at the previous hearing last December. conferences with factions today. the contending Creamery Will Rebuild Plant Burned Sunday Albany, Ore., May 4. Despite the fact that the plant and eq uipment of the Albany Creamery association were destroyed by fire Sunday morning, cream producers are not to lose the market which, the plant afforded. The cssociatlon sent out notices to stockholders that the association will receive cream as usual and will soon have a larger plant with better equip ment. While it will take four or five months to get a new building and get the equipment ready for opera tion, the association will take the cream and send it to other creamer les. The association will receive cream at the old Hazelwood place on Second street between Lyon and Ellsworth streets, was rented today.
