To Our Patrons, not i iskecl "if we will make the pa- per a permanent success ?" In this issue we invc a few facts and let the people draw their own conclusions. We started this paper on the 12th day of April, less than six months ago; did not owe a cent on the press, type, etc., and have managed ever since to pay everv dollar as it be - came due for paper, ink and tvpe) and while a number of our exchang- cs are now calling for the amounts due them from delinquent subscrib- ers so they can pay what they owe on material, we are proud to say all we have to do is to ask for what is due us so we can make invprovements to our oilier.
