Ashland. Ore.. August. 1912.
Notice is hereby given that the
Common Council of the City of Ash
land, Oregon, did on the 6th day of
August. 1912, after due publication
of notice of hearing on the report of
the board of viewers making special
benefit assessment In sewer district
Ko. 17, accruing from the construc
tion of sewers in said district, on the
property within and abutting onto
said sewer district, approve and
adopt said report and did by City
Ordinance No. 543 levy against the
several pieces and parcels of proper
ty within the aforesaid sewer district
Xo. 17, the assessments as set forth
in the said report, to be collected as
provided in City Ordinance No. 247,
as amended by City Ordinance No.
24 S.
Said special benefit assessments
will be due and payable prior to Au
gust 18th, 1912.
Where assessments amount to
$25.00 or more, the persons assessed
may at any time within ten days af
ter the date of the publication of this
notice have the time extended for'
making payment by signing an ap
plication, as provided by law, at the
City Recorder's office..
Where such application is' not
made the assessments are due and
payable in cash within thirty days
from August 18th, 1912, and if de
fault is made in payment after the
expiration of the time allowed, such
assessment will become a lien upon
the property and will be collected in
the manner provided in sections 1
and 2 of the charter of the City of
Ashland, Oregon.
