Kill 100 Snipes. Claudo Nasburg
and Russ Tower were up Coos River
jesterday and secured 100 snipo
which is said to be a new record for
this kind of shooting on the Bay. It
is expected that duck hunting will
soon be good. The unusual amount
of feed on the marshes is expected to
draw and keep a large number of
ducks.

has returned from Coqullle where ho
was called yesterday to take part In
the case of Tupper vs. Tupper beforo
Justice Holden. Tho case Is a con
troversy growing out of the sale ot
tho hotel at Coqullle and rival claims
as to the ownership of certain goods.
A change of venue was taken from
Justice Holdens court to the court of,
the Myrtle Point Justice.

Mrs. E. M. Farrlnger will resume her
studio work. During the past sum
