POPULAR JEWELERS University Park Iprovements. The track of the electric railway on Dawson street is . being lowered between Uni versity Park and McKenna avenue, where the street Is being improved. The ' work causes Inconvenience to the public, as transfers from one car to another are frequent, but the work will soon be com pleted. At the intersection of Dawson and Fi.sk streets conditions are bad be vond description. The Intersection is now impassable. H. G. Sibray, a well-known resident, blames property-owners . and said yesterday that he hoped Flsk street would be so bad that it would have to be closed up. "We have a few property owners here at University Park," declared Mr. Sibray, "who try to get the streets In good condition, but there is a larger number who refuse to do anything and try to prevent others more enterprising from making Improvements. 1 don't care how bad conditions on the streets become. I hope they will get so bad that the property-owners will be forced to improve." Woodstock Club to Entertain. Next Friday night , the Woodstock Push Club will give an entertainment for the resi dents of the. suburbs.
