Hendrix and Associates at Fort Benjamin Harrison Are Making; Good ' In just 11 days promotions from the ranks wera earned' by each one of the four Portland men sent to Fort Ben jamin Harrison under the occupational call of last month to nerve as engineers in the railway service. These men entrained here May 17 and the report -of their promotions from the ranks was written May 28. On this date three of the men were sergeants and the fourth was a corporal. J. S.
