Rain has fallen today over all sections of
the Pacific Northwest and in Nonhorn Cali
fornia. It Is much cooler this evening in
Eastern Oregon, the Great Salt Lake basin
and In the central valleyn of California. The
indications are for occasional rain in this dis
trict Friday,

ington County Commissioners' Court has
ordered two rock-crushers for county road
work. The machines are to be delivered
within 30 . days. They are of. the latesi
pattern, a'nd will cost $2400. One will be
located in the eastern portion ot the
county, close to Portland mountain, and
the other will be operated west from For
est Grove.
