When Did the Singer Stop ?
RIGHT here in Oregon City, in the
liberty Theatre last Tuesday
night, a large audience found
itself unable to tell when the living art
ist stopped singing and the Re-Creation
of his voice was begun by the New Edi
son. Only by watching his lips closely
could the most critical music-lover dis
tinguish which was singing, so perfect
ly did the phonograph Re-Create the
artist's voice!
Harvey Hindermyer, famous, tenor,
sang in the Liberty Theatre in direct
comparison with . the remarkable, New
Edison. If you were there, you know
that there was no difference between
the two voices the song, alternately
sung by Mr. Hindermyer in person and
Re-Created at intervals by the New
Edison, flowed smoothly along with uni
form quality of tone.
Similar tests were made by the cele
brated Danh Trio with the same mar
velous results. '
No other phonograph dares to at
tempt such a test. Yet this is the only
way in which the public can be sure be
yound a doubt that there is a phono
graph that actually Re-Creates the liv
ing voice. '
By this drastic test, the New Edison
has proved that it can give you the real
performance of master-musicians.

The instrument used in the test at the Liberty Theatre was
not a special model. Any Official Laboratory Model in our stock
will absolutely meet the same test it is guaranteed to do so.
Let us play this phonograph for you in further tests. -And
let us tell you how easy it is to own one, with a very small outlay
of cash.
