Mrs. Denny Miller and father came in on No. 6 Sunday from Spanawny Washington, being called here by the death of her oldest son, Jack. A wave of sorrow was cast over the Bend Saturday morning when Jack Miller, age 14, son of Mr. and . Mrs. Denny Miller, was instantly killed while digging in a gravel pit - neir Roswell. Jack was loved by all who came within the aurora of his loving spirit. We so often say, "but why not take this other one whose years have measured three score and ten". Herein is a mys- ' tery which will not be solved until the secret of the Divine nature is . revealed. The funeral -ervices wove conducted by Rev Shields, in the Presbyterian church at Roswell, who paid a beautiful trlihute to the loved one gone on nnd the crief stricken parents and friends.
