The 18th annual “Quilts in the
Garden” home and garden
tour, presented by the Sisters
Garden Club, takes place on
Thursday, July 9 from 9 a.m.
to 3 p.m. Tickets are now
available at the Chamber offi ce

St. Edward’s Mass Change
for Daily Mass This Week
Due to Quilt Week schedule of
classes, St. Edward the Martyr
Roman Catholic Church is
holding daily Mass one hour
later than normal through
Friday, July 10. It will be held
at 9 a.m. instead of 8 a.m. For

Kids’ Fun Day
Looking for a fun FREE activity
for your kids this summer?
Sisters Church of the Nazarene
will host a game day geared
for ages 4 to 10 on Thursday,
July 23 from 1 to 3 p.m. The
church is at 67130 Harrington
Loop Rd., off Gist Road. Kids
will enjoy the giant slip-n-slide,
water balloon launcher and
other fun water games if it’s
warm, and plenty of dry games,
too, with a scavenger hunt and
more! Parents are welcome to
stay, or may drop off the kids

Dry Camping for Quilt Show
Sisters Community Church will
offer dry camping Friday and
Saturday, July 10 and 11, in the
lot of Sisters Christian Academy
(1307 W. McKinney Butte Rd.)

to fund an upcoming mission

Road Closure July 18
Saturday, July 18 from 6 a.m.

Avenue will be closed for
the “Glory Daze” Car Show,

City Offers Grant Funds
The City of Sisters seeks to
award grants to nonprofi ts and
others for Sisters programs that
provide: (1) help for essential
food, clothing or shelter; (2)
education or recreation for
children or seniors; or that (3)
generate or support economic
activity in Sisters. A community
grant application (on the City’s
website or at City Hall) should
be submitted with letter of
interest by Friday, July 17 to

The booth will be “Sisters
Authors” and is for any local

District presents a Sisters feast
from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on
