Annual Easter Egg Hunt
The Sisters-Camp Sherman
RFPD presents their annual
Easter Egg Hunt on Sunday,
April 5, with the Easter Bunny
on hand to greet the kids. The
hunt takes place at 1 p.m.
at Creekside City Park and
the adjoining Creekside
Campground, rain or shine!
Parking is limited, and kids
should arrive by 12:40 p.m. to
be divided into age groups.
Don’t be late; the eggs go fast!

The Sisters Outdoor Quilt
Show seeks fi ber artists to
participate in the 12th Annual
“Around the Block” Fiber Arts
Stroll to take place from noon
to 4 p.m. on Sunday, July 5 in
downtown Sisters. Selected
artists demonstrate, display, and
may sell their art or crafts in
sponsor businesses. Artists will
be selected on the originality
of the work and a fi ber-arts
theme. General entry deadline

The ASPIRE program at Sisters

applications for one “in-city”
volunteer to serve out Planning
Commission term (expires June
2017). The commission reviews
major land-use applications;
advises the City Council on
Planning policies and more
and meets at 5:30 p.m. the
third Thursday of the month at
Sisters City Hall. Applications

First Aid Class Offered

RFPD is offering a CPR/AED
and First Aid class on Sunday,

FCA Dessert & Auction
The Fellowship of Christian
Athletes in Central Oregon will
hold the annual fundraising
auction on Saturday, April 18 at
Eastmont Church in Bend. Bob
Shaw of KTVZ will moderate,
and the OSU football chaplain,
HD Weddel, will speak.
Dessert will be followed by
a short program, and then a
live auction to raise funds for
ministry needs and camp for
kids. Tickets are $10. For more

Music, Movement & Stories
For ages 3 to 5, fun with music,
movement and stories will be
presented at 10:15 a.m. at the

The 4th Annual Sisters Kiwanis
Antiques Sale to be held May
23 is accepting donations and
this year will feature jewelry:
costume, collectible, vintage
and more! Old watches,
rhinestones, even broken items
are welcome for this year’s
“bling in the spring.” As always,
large items and furniture are
also sought. All donations
are tax deductible and funds
will go toward scholarships

Chili Feed Approaches!
The annual Great American
Chili Feed, sponsored by the
Sisters American Legion and
Veterans of Foreign Wars,
will take place this year on
Saturday, April 11 from 11 a.m.
to 2 p.m. at Sisters Community
Church. Enjoy homemade chili
with all the fi xin’s! Just $5 for
adults, $3 for kids under 10,
and free for kids under 5. Funds
raised will support the activities
of the Sisters Veterans groups.

Christian Athletes Sports Camp
to be held June 23-27 at NW
Nazarene U. in Nampa, Idaho.

volleyball, wrestling, lacrosse,
tennis, basketball or golf. Cost
